Halftime report: ULM at Colorado

The Colorado Buffaloes are making easy work of the Louisiana Monroe Warhawks at the half, 48-23. The game is the second in the Boulder Regional portion of the 2016 Legends Classic.

Colorado came out with a hot start to the game. Junior guard George King made a 3-point shot to start off the scoring and followed it up with another not too long after. For the half, the guard has 10 points and three rebounds.

King isn’t the only Buff scoring in double digits. Senior guard Derrick White is the team’s leading scorer, adding points of his own. He’s also helping the team with three rebounds, an assist and a steal.

Freshmen guard Bryce Peters is already surpassing his career high in points. After not making a shot thus far in his young career, Peters has added five points to the game. This included a buzzer-beating shot from behind the arc to end the first half.

Colorado will look to improve on their stellar start in the second half.

The CU Independent will have a full game report after the final buzzer has sounded.
