The University of Colorado men’s basketball team announced today that two players are leaving the program: junior guard Tre’Shaun Fletcher and sophomore forward Kenan Guzonjic. Both Fletcher and Guzonjic have decided to seek transfer opportunities at other yet-to-be-determined schools.
In Fletcher, the Buffaloes lose an able two-way player who was a consistent presence in the rotation this season. He averaged 7.1 points and 2.4 rebounds in 19.6 minutes per game.
Guzonjic, a native of Bosnia-Herzegovinia who transferred to Colorado from Midland College this past offseason, struggled to earn minutes for the Buffaloes. The forward only appeared in 13 games for Colorado, and overall in his 53 minutes of playing time for the Buffaloes he scored 20 points and gathered 14 rebounds.
This marks the second consecutive year that the program has lost players to transfers. Last year, Dustin Thomas left the program and transferred to Arkansas.
