CU women’s lacrosse preparing for inaugural season
The University of Colorado women’s lacrosse team is getting ready for its inaugural season with a young team. CU announced it would add women’s lacrosse as its 17th varsity sport last spring, leaving the coaching staff with a year to bring in recruits to form the team. The team has 21 freshmen and only two juniors on the roster, but the players and coaches are excited about the upcoming season and starting the history of Colorado lacrosse.
See below for a video interview with head coach Ann Elliott and freshman midfielder Marie Moore, as well as photos from the team’s practice.
