Bicycle theft down

This summer saw a relatively low number of bicycle thefts compared to the record high in August of last year, according to CU Police officer Tim McGraw. The 62 bicycle thefts reported last August, which occurred mostly during the daytime, left students and the CU Police Department anxious to prevent a repeat this summer.

Large freshman class faces housing shortage

Once again the campus is teeming with the chatter of conversations between incoming freshmen and their parents over the anticipation of move-in day. This year the voices are even louder as one of the largest classes of incoming freshmen moves in. According to Ryan Chreist, the associate director of admissions at CU, approximately 5,500 new freshmen are expected to begin their college careers at CU this fall.

Ski or board?

Many people are attracted to CU because it's a mecca for all things outdoors, especially skiing. Two of the more popular season ski passes are the Rocky Mountain Super Pass and the Colorado Pass. The Rocky Mountain Super Pass allows full access to Winter Park/Mary Jane and Copper Mountain.
