Ravers rejoice! You have the opportunity to ring in the new year with a double dose of electronica. Global Dance-organized festival Decadence returns to the Colorado Convention center for the fifth year this Dec. 30 and 31. In the past, Global Dance has also hosted the Global Dance Festival at Red Rocks, as well as the popular rave Skylab.
This years edition of Decadence includes renowned EDM artists such as Bassnectar, Big Gigantic, Deadmau5, Excision, Gramatik, Hardwell, JackU, among many others. You may remember Excision from his various collaborations with the king of the independent rappers, Tech N9ne. For those of you who haven’t heard of JackU, it’s a collaborative duo featuring Skrillex and Diplo, the kingpin of record label Mad Decent.
Start the new year off with a bang. Or, a lot of wubs. And since this will be my first-ever rave, you bet you can expect a very special Roller’s Stone article about my experience. See you there!
