According to a press release sent out by the CU men’s basketball team Wednesday morning, sophomore forward Jaron Hopkins has decided to transfer.
The release gave no reasoning behind Hopkins’ decision. He is now the second player to transfer from the program during this short-lived offseason. Dustin Thomas declared his decision to leave the program several weeks ago.
During his two-year tenure with the Buffs, Hopkins averaged 5.3 points a game and 2.9 rebounds per outing.
