Someone once said there is always a time and place for everything. But when it comes to sex, we don’t always consider the place – there are many times when we just have to satisfy our urges, and campus is not immune to that spontaneity.
The library isn’t just for studying. “Donuts,” a senior majoring in aerospace engineering, tells the story of when he met up with the girl he was seeing at the time. They met in the middle of the day and went to the agriculture records section, where they noticed the signatures of others who had hooked up there.
“Having sex in the library was definitely a check off my bucket list,” Donuts said.
Most go to Kittredge Field to play lacrosse, rugby or Frisbee; others may go to spice up their relationship. Dom, a freshman majoring in psychology, was on his way home after a late night on the Hill with his girlfriend. They decided to lie down on the field and watch the stars, and one thing led to another.
“I loved knowing that anyone could come and walk in on us at any time,” he said.
Wolf Law study room
Some may be in the law building’s study room cramming for midterms or finals. Others, like “Donuts,” may just be in there to have sex with their significant other.
“When I was in the study room with the girl I was seeing at the time, we decided to have sex,” Donuts said. “We were in a study room that didn’t lock, so we piled stuff up against the door to keep it locked.”
Some classrooms and lecture halls go unused for hours at a time. John, a freshman economics major, had just gotten into a fight with his girlfriend, and they went into an empty classroom to spice things up.
“I grabbed [her] and put her on the desk,” he said. “We weren’t really thinking anyone was going to walk in on us, until one of the security guards walked in. He let us go since it was embarrassing enough that he walked in on us.”
