Sara Morrey

This is Sara’s sixth semester with the CU Independent. She has previously worked as a news reporter, deadline news editor and managing editor, and spent the summer of 2010 as an intern at the Denver Business Journal. She has a general aversion to fish, contact lenses and camping, and is almost positive she has kept Orbit gum and Rush in business for the past year. The CUI has greatly impacted her college experience and she is looking forward to what this semester has to bring.

SJMC to be discontinued

Guest Editorial: A letter to the Regents

Dear Regents:

I am the elected student president of the Journalism Board, an organization of seven students. I will be graduating next month with a BS in Journalism, an emphasis in news editorial, a BA in psychology, and a certificate in International Media. I will speak to my experience as a double major. I hope to be the voice of the faculty that cannot speak out against their employer’s recommendation.

Letter from the editor

The CU Independent would like to address concerns raised by Multicultural Greek Council organizations at CU-Boulder in relation to an article that was recently published.
