From a Boulder Police Department press release:
Boulder police are releasing photos of a suspect in a robbery that occurred at A-Ok Liquors, 2690 28th St., at about 11:15 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 4. Investigators are asking for the public’s assistance identifying and locating the suspect.
The suspect entered the store with a small brown paper bag in one hand and a $20 bill in the other. The suspect told the clerk that he had recently returned from Florida and asked the clerk to make change for his $20 bill. When the clerk opened the cash register, the suspect demanded all the money and displayed a gun. The suspect left with an undisclosed amount of money.
The suspect has been described as a white male. He was wearing a long black coat, a white fisherman style hat and large dark sunglasses.
Anyone with information about this suspect is asked to contact Detective Collin Stephens at 303-441-3384.
