Fiske Planetarium will hold the “Liquid Sky Grateful Dead on the Dome” show Friday at 8:30 to 9:30 p.m. The hour-long event will feature music from the American rock band Grateful Dead accompanied by cosmic visuals.
The event page describes the performance as a “mind-melting” musical and an “all-you-can-eat eye candy buffet.” Musical beats and rhythms will be combined with the “trippiest visuals digitally rendered live” on Fiske’s 8K dome screen.
The playlist includes:
- Bertha – Red Rocks (1978)
- Good Lovin’ – Red Rocks (1978)
- Brown Eyed Women – Cornell (1977)
- Ramble on Rose – Winterland (1978)
- Mississippi Half Step – Englishtown (1977)
- Franklin’s Tower – Dead Set (1980)
- Brokedown Palace – Dead Set (1980)
- Deal – Cornell (1977)
A “special” encore is also promoted on the event’s web page. General admission is $10 and $7 for kids, seniors and veterans. Tickets and information can be found here.
