The up-and-coming company, GroupRaise, is promoting successful fundraising for worthy causes here in Boulder.
Restaurants across the city are partnering with GroupRaise to help local groups raise money for their cause. Any non-profit organization or group can contact a partnering restaurant and set up a fundraiser. The restaurant then donates a percentage of the group’s meal check, which is typically between 15 and 50 percent, back to the cause.
Plenty of local restaurants participate in this partnership, including Protein Bar, Lindsay’s Boulder Deli and Rueben’s Burger Bistro. Any non-profit cause can host an event through the company, and the website allows these groups to search for GroupRaise restaurants in their area, making fundraising convenient and fairly easy.
After the fundraiser, the charity can expect a check from the restaurant four to six weeks after the meal.
GroupRaise does not receive any money from charitable causes using the website. However, the company does receive profit from the restaurants involved. This arrangement allows for the cause to receive as much money as possible. Groups can expect to raise $50 to $500 in a single event, held monthly to annually.
GroupRaise is a simple and straightforward way to raise money for a cause while enjoying some of Boulder’s classic establishments.
