Spring is in the air? Well, the calendar may not say so, but the temperatures are sure going to feel like it, which means it is the perfect weekend to get out on the hill and have some fun. Here is what the local resorts have in store for the weekend and the week ahead
ASPEN/SNOWMASS
The X Games are over and after a minute to catch its breath, Aspen is getting the party machine going as the Bud Light Hi-Fi Concert Series continues on Saturday, Feb. 13 with Ra-Ra Riot in the house. Get ready for a house party with Ra-Ra Riot, which has major festival cred to its name, including appearances at Coachella and Lollapalooza. The concert is free at Aspen Mountain.
The Street Rail Fridays runs through March at 2 p.m. on Upper Fanny Hill. Want to show off your moves? This is the time to do it, and you can win some great prizes, too.
COPPER
If you haven’t made your Valentine’s Day plans (shame on you), you still have time to join in for Copper’s Moonlight Dinner at Solitude Station. For $90, you can have a special kind of romantic night that combines the best of both worlds – love and the outdoors. Oh, and great food and fun, including live music. And mark your calendar now for the Copper Uncorked event on Saturday, Feb. 20. Copper Uncorked is a unique spin on the traditional wing challenge as chefs compete for the best wing recipe and wine pairing, proving that wings are for more than beer and football! Enjoy live music from New Orleans Suspects while you pick the most savory and ingenious combo for the win. The fun begins at 11 a.m. in Burning Stones Plaza. BRECKENRIDGE
Saturday marks the beginning of Breck’s Women’s Ski Week, which features a variety of events for the ladies on the slopes – everything from wine tasting to yoga demonstrations to lessons. Women’s Ski Week runs through February 21. Get more information here.
Breck has a great program for those who are 50 years of age and older, so if your parents are in town, the “50+ Ski with Us” program continues, and consists of a complimentary guided ski and snowboard program for all guests ages 50 and over. Explore Breck’s vast and varied terrain, while enjoying a social day with fellow local and visiting seniors. Every Tuesday through March, meet at 8:30 to 9 at the T-Bar bar, located on Peak 8 and you will be on the mountain at 9 a.m.
ARAPAHOE BASIN
Book now for the 6th Alley Supper Club – Friday Night Fish Fry that happens on Friday, February 12 at the 6th Alley Bar and Grill. The cost for the dinner is just $20 ($10 for kids ages 7-12 and kids 6 and under are free).

KEYSTONE
Keystone rocks its Winter Wine Tasting on Saturday night, Feb. 13 at Warren Station. If you thought that wine doesn’t complement snow, think again! Guests will be able to choose from a vast array of wines in this walk-around event showcasing bold fireplace reds with crisp and sparkling whites. Delicious hors d’oeuvres, cheeses and breads will be available to sample with each sip, while top wine specialists help you to develop your palate. Teresa Carroll performs with live jazz, sultry vocals, smooth saxophone and tempo-kicking guitar. Carroll was once awarded “Best Jazz Singer” by Westword.
WINTER PARK
The first annual College Ski & Snowboard Day is set for Saturday, February 20th 2016 at Winter Park Resort
On Feb. 20th, College students from throughout the Colorado Front Range are invited to take advantage of Winter Park’s first annual College Day! Savings on lift tickets — only $71 — NASTAR Race Course, and some killer discounts on food and drink.
There’s complimentary use of the NASTAR Race Course from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Teams of 5 racers will compete for time. There will also be a second race course directly next to the formal NASTAR course, this second course will be more of an comical, obstacle course with hoola-hoop and limbo sections.
