Coming out of a city in Maryland an hour outside of D.C., Logic has roots in hip hop stemming from Section 8 housing and a childhood surrounded by familial drug deals and other hardships such as being expelled from high school.
After being expelled, Logic was free to write and pursue his music career at a very young age. Since then, Logic has dropped four mixtapes, signed to Def Jam Recordings, released his debut album, and made a stop in Denver at The Ogden Theater on his “Under Pressure World Tour” on Monday.
Logic plays a true hip hop show, performing his most popular songs, some of his earlier tracks from the beginning of his career, as well as freestyling from time to time. Having the whole stage to himself and his good friend, DJ Rhetorik, energy was high all throughout the sold out Ogden Theater in Logic’s sixth of 49 stops around the world.
