In a disappointing showing, the Colorado Buffaloes fell 81-61 against the USC Trojans at the Coors Event Center Friday evening.
The Lady Buffs defeat can be pegged to the 22 Trojan points scored off of 21 turnovers committed by the Buffs.
“They had those 22 points off of our turnovers,” head coach Linda Lappe said when asked about their recent struggles. “If we limit those to 10, it’s a totally different game.”
This is the second game in a row in which the Buffs have handed over 20 or more turnovers to the opposing team.
Hoping to end their four game losing streak, the Buffs will take on the UCLA Bruins on Sunday at 2:00 p.m. in the Coors Event Center.
