CU students are recognizing the struggle for immigrant rights and working to help undocumented high school graduates attend university. The Eye-Resist organization, comprised of both CU and Naropa University students, held a rally at the UMC fountain area in support of Asset Bill SB 126 on Wednesday, Feb. 9. According to a news release, the bill “would provide Colorado residents with in-state tuition, regardless of immigration status.” Monisha Merchant, a regent from Congressional District 7, and high school students from Longmont and Lafayette also attended the rally in support of its cause.
