Sammy
Sammy Davis Jr. would do well with someone who has the energy and patience for his exercise and training needs. He is already participating in the Humane Society of Boulder Valley STAR training program. Sammy is a quick learner, and enjoys being around people. In the beginning he seemed inexperienced with wearing a collar and leash, causing him to become anxious and uncomfortable when being handled around his neck. However, the Training and Behavior staff at HSBV has been working with him to create positive associations. He is not recommended for a home with small children. Our veterinarians removed a benign cyst from the top of Sammy’s head, so he’s growing his hair back. Sammy likes to cuddle and is looking for someone to lean on forever.
Ginger
Ginger is a beautiful cat with a very soft coat who likes attention and being pet. She would make a wonderful companion. She loves sitting up high on the shelf in her cat condo so she can watch over everything that’s happening around her.
