Over 2,000 students will absorb the first year of medical school – in eight weeks
This year there will be 2,000 people across Colorado who will learn the first year of medical school in eight short weeks. CU-Denver’s Mini Medical School began yesterday and is being simulcast in the MCD Biology building on the CU-Boulder campus. This program teaches the fundamentals learned during the first year of medical school.
Founded by Dr. John J. Cohen in 1989, the CU-Denver program has graduated more than 7,000 students to date. The class takes place in the Denver Museum of Nature and Science IMAX Theater and is simulcast to seven other Colorado cities, including Boulder, Greeley and Grand Junction.
