April 2 A 20-year-old Broomfield man was arrested on suspicion of burglary and possession of a controlled substance after officers were called to a burglary in progress in the 1200 block of College Avenue. Three residents at the apartment detained the suspect after finding him in their apartment.

According to news reports, Celeste Clarice Partee made a big splash during her spring break when she fell nine stories from a cruise ship balcony into the Gulf of Mexico. The Grand Princess cruise-liner was several hours off the shore of Galveston, Texas on March 25 when Partee, a sophomore sociology major fell along with 22-year-old Air Force Academy cadet, Ernesto Guzmanir, 7 News reported.

March 30: Officers took a robbery report from a woman whose purse was taken from her in the area of 17th Street and Canyon. She reported that she was walking in the area when a man rode by her on a bicycle and grabbed her purse from her shoulder.

With the help of UCSU, CU has begun to use more and more “green cleaning” products in recent months. “Green cleaning is using products that are environmentally friendly and safe for customers and facilities to use,” said Jimmie Baker, manager of building operations for the UMC.

The number of anti-Jewish incidents in the state of Colorado dropped for the second year in a row, according to the Anti-Defamation League’s 2006 Audit of Anti-Semitic Incidents. The drop moves Colorado from 10th to 11th in national rank for the most anti-Jewish incidents among the 44 states audited, along with the District of Columbia.
