Kenton Andrew Astin, who was arrested for allegedly assaulting CU freshman Michael Knorps on the first day of school, was found officially “incompetent to proceed” due to his psychiatric situation at a hearing this morning. Astin was not present for his hearing, but his diagnosis was provided by the Colorado Mental Health Institute in Pueblo, the County Clerk’s office explained.
