Laura Poole is a post theater journalist trying to wiggle into a comfortable writing role at the CU Independent. Technically a junior, Laura is in her second year in the J school trying to graduate in time to get a job and move with her husband and daughter into a bigger home in Denver, and get a decent paying journalism job too. Laura has been writing and acting from a very young age, and likes to practice fiction in her spare time. Other hobbies include reading, cooking and spending precious time with her two-year-old. Life is simple yet full of excitement in the newsroom and reporting classes for this 22-year-old.
