CU Boulder will be showing an advanced premiere of the movie The Accountant, starring Ben Affleck and Anna Kendrick. The screening will take place Oct. 10 in CHEM 140 at 8 p.m.
Free passes are available upon download, but the site advises to arrive early to ensure seating.
As the crime-fueled thriller unfolds, Affleck portrays Christian Wolff — a math scholar who is fonder of numbers than of people. Wolff works as a freelance accountant for major criminal organizations, but covers it up by working for a small town certified public accountant office.
Kendrick plays the accounting clerk for a state-of-the-art robotics company who also becomes Wolff’s client. The clerk notices there are some problems with the millions of dollars the company has, and as Wolff starts to unveil the truth, the adventure begins.
The Accountant will premiere in theaters on Oct. 14.
