I am 19 years old, and I grew up in South Florida. As a young conservative and an engaged voter, I am writing to express my excitement to support Jeb Bush and his visions to represent us as the next president of the United States.
We need a new, younger generation of representation in government, and Governor Bush is a thoughtful, independent thinker that is a perfect fit to represent our nation. He is one of the few politicians to speak different languages, which is a great asset to a leader of such a diverse nation. Bush has the background of both a businessman and a strong executive. One of the more compelling aspects about Bush is he also connects with generations who have an age difference with him, no matter what walk of life they came from.
I know I speak for a lot of young professionals and students when I say that I’m sick and tired of negative campaigning, and I’m insulted that some candidates seem to think the only issues we care about are the ones the liberals paint for us, whether that be free stuff or birth control. I have watched closely, and Bush has run a very positive campaign that is focused on real issues that are on the forefront of my mind — things like jobs and the economy, quality public school education, public safety, affordable in-state college tuition and preserving and protecting our environment.
Bush is positive and optimistic. He listens, and he cares deeply about the future of our nation. I have no doubt that Bush will secure the GOP nomination and will win in November, and I know he will serve us well in representing our great nation. I strongly encourage readers to join me by enthusiastically supporting Bush and his vision.
