It’s that time, the votes are in and the Second Congressional District of the United States has been called.
With 15 percent of precincts reporting, Democrat House Representative Mark Udall has been declared the winner. The race was tight for gubernatorial candidates as well.
At 72 percent of the vote, Udall defeated Republican representative Rich Mancuso with 25 percent, according to CNN.com.
According to a biography on CNN.com, Udall ran for House in 1998 and again in 2000, defeating Republican David Skaggs.
58 percent of the polling places in Weld County have reported, which is the highest percentage in Colorado at this time. At this point, Broomfield, Jefferson and Summit counties have not reported, according to CNN.com.
