On Sunday evening Mike Bohn announced that head coach of the Colorado Buffaloes football team, Jon Embree, has been dismissed.
“On Sunday night, we announced the departure of Coach Jon Embree,” said University of Colorado President Bruce Benson, UCB Chancellor Philip P. DiStefano and Bohn in a press release. We firmly believe a change in the leadership in our football program is in the best interests of the University of Colorado, particularly given our goal to compete at the highest levels of the Pac-12 Conference.”After two lackluster seasons, Jon Embree and the Buffaloes accrued only four wins, but gained an astonishing 21 losses including this year’s 48-0 homecoming blowout to Stanford and the 70-14 rout via Oregon. Over the last two years, Embree’s Buffaloes have won only two conference games.
The personnel change comes with little surprise, as two weeks ago Mike Bohn was quoted in the Daily Camera saying that alterations would be made come seasons—the announcement was made two days after the end of the 2012 season.
More information will come as it is made available.

This the best news for CU since they hire him.
With all the talent the buffs have and they could not compete, it is the coach’s fault
