In response to the recent homophobic attacks on a CU student, the Gender Justice Commission at CU would like to take a stance against all forms of homophobia and bigotry on campus and in the Boulder
community.
As of late, the campus community has been impacted by a number of violent incidents and the sense of “safety” has been greatly
jeopardized.
The GJC believes that students have the right to a safe and inclusive campus environment and, to that end, we pledge to do all that we can to make students feel comfortable, safe and accepted in
their identities.
The GJC is committed to promoting healthy and just environments for all students and we want to offer our support to all who have been impacted by recent events.
