According to the CU Police Department, Eugene Swiney, 50, was arrested on Sunday at 17th and Athens after allegedly threatening to kill three transient men.
According to a police report, Swiney, whose address is in Arizona, was found by police “face down and passed out”, and was uncooperative when asked for identification.
The transient men told police that Swiney had pulled out a swiss army knife and threatened to kill them. Swiney was arrested for flourishing a deadly weapon in an alarming manner, threatening bodily injury, and resisting arrest.
