Have you ever wanted to fly high in an abandoned factory with tons of other people all 21 and over? Now you can, but not for long! This Saturday, Oct. 13, O.penVAPE is putting on a cannabis-inspired festival called Far Out Factory at the Rock Drill in Denver. Sponsors will be housed in separate rooms, decorated with unique concepts and themes that will make you feel like a spaceship flying between worlds.
The Rock Drill is a historical factory that spans two city blocks at the northeast end of the RiNo district. A hip and art-friendly area of Denver bustling with microbrews and hipster crews. Far Out Factory will be one of the last events to use the space before it undergoes new developments, so if you’re interested, take this opportunity while it lasts.
This event is also a showcase for the weird and wonderful works of local Colorado artists. The art installations are sponsored by Meow Wolf, an organization consisting of hundreds of artists who make interactive, psychedelic, big art spanning across many disciplines. Covering tunes will be a selection of DJs, like Hotel Garuda and Louis Futon, that can match a vibe and get the crowd moving. Food trucks and local craft beverages will be on scene to intercept munchies and cottonmouth.
