CU Student Government elections are currently underway, through Thursday, Oct. 29 at 8 p.m. This semester’s election will decide five Representative-at-Large positions and five seats in the Arts and Sciences Student Government, also known as ASSG. Any fee-paying student may vote via MyCUInfo for CUSG Representative positions, and fee-paying students in the College of Arts and Sciences may also vote for ASSG positions.
Representatives-at-Large sit on the Representative council, which functions as a funding board under the student government. They attend Legislative Council meetings, where bills may be voted on and signed into law by the three Student Body Presidents.
To vote, students can log in to their MyCUInfo accounts online, click on the ‘VOTE’ tab and complete the voting form. Candidate information is available through the portal, and can be viewed before completing a ballot.
Information about CUSG and the candidates are available through the University of Colorado Student Government Facebook page, on the CUSG website and at the tables placed around campus throughout the week.
Dillon Elliot is this year’s Election Commissioner. He can be reached at Dillon.Elliot@colorado.edu.
