The Buffs were never able to pull away from the University of California Santa Barbara Gauchos, but finished Thursday night’s home game with a 76-68 win.
Junior guard Spencer Dinwiddie had 24 points, with 14 of them coming from the free-throw line.
Josh Scott, Askia Booker and Xavier Johnson contributed 10 of the team’s 12 steals in the game.
Up next for the 5-1 Buffs is Harvard, 4-0, on Sunday at 2:30 p.m.
