CU Police Department was notified of an alleged kidnapping at gunpoint on campus Monday night.
A witness told police a white male in a dark-colored hoodie got out of a car near Benson Earth Sciences at about 9:15 p.m. Monday and pointed what appeared to be a handgun at a black male wearing jeans and a blue shirt, police said in a news release.
The suspect and victim reportedly got into the back seat of the car and traveled east on Colorado Avenue past Folsom Street.
CUPD received the report at 9:30 p.m.
Since Monday night, no missing persons have been reported to the Boulder Police Department, Boulder County Sheriff’s Office or CU Police Department, Ryan Huff, spokesman for CUPD, said.
No subsequent reports on the alleged Monday night incident has been reported to CUPD, Huff said midday Tuesday.
No information on suspects, victims or related injuries was available regarding the possible kidnapping.
