The Buffs now stand at 13-2 overall and 2-2 in the Pac-12. The Utes fell to 9-6 overall and have no wins in conference play.
The Utes and Buffs happened to play back-to-back games against one another. The other was held on Jan. 8, when CU senior Chucky Jeffery posted a season high of 28 points. On Sunday, the leading scorer for the Buff’s hit her 1,400th career point.

Neither team had led by more than five points, but CU carried a two-point lead at half time.
The Buffs went on a 10-4 run with 14:47 left in the second half and held onto the lead for the remainder of the game.
CU also played solid defense, with freshman Arielle Roberson, sophomore Lexy Kresl, and Junior Rachel Hargis slowing down key players for the Utes.
At the buzzer, sophomore Jen Reese claimed 11 points off the bench, Roberson tallied up double digits for the 14th time this season and freshman Kyleesha Weston added eight points.
