Even the title saying that fraternities are being reinstated as “student groups” is just entirely incorrect. All this bill does is allow fraternities to use cost center rooms at student prices, which will essentially only be done for their philanthropies. This is an action on behalf of the CUSG with no binding contract on fraternities. The school still has no power to tell the fraternities what they can or can not do, with the exception of how they use on-campus facilities.
