In a duel on the front range, the Buffaloes trampled the Pioneers.
The Buffs’ women’s basketball team remains undefeated with a 20-point win (83-63) over the University of Denver Pioneers on Tuesday night.
Junior guard Brittany Wilson led the Buffs in scoring with 19 total points. Senior guard Chucky Jeffery posted 14 points and 11 rebounds, and redshirt freshman forward Arielle Roberson added 11.

On Nov. 16, 2010, DU pulled out a narrow one-point victory over CU. The Buffs remembered the disappointment of that game and the possibility of remaining undefeated so far this season, the Buffs were eager for a victory as the game began.
Due to a rough start by the Buffs, the first half had 11 lead changes. However, Colorado was able to build to a 10-point lead going into the half, 37-27.
Opening the second half, CU went on a 9-1 run to make the score 46-28. DU did not tally a point until the 14:07 mark. The Buffs led for the remainder of the game, building a gap that at one point reached 26 points.
The Buffs owned the glass, grabbing 50 rebounds compared to DU’s 28. This is the second consecutive game that Colorado has gathered 50 rebounds.
Friday, the Buffs go head-to-head with their biggest non-conference challenger of the season, No. 8 Louisville, at the Coors Events Center at 7 p.m.
