CU hires San Jose State’s Mike MacIntyre as new head football coach

After weeks of searching and a close but failed agreement with Cincinnati’s Butch Jones, CU has found a new head football coach: San Jose State’s Mike MacIntyre.

According to reports from the Daily Camera, Mike MacIntryre has been hired and will sign a 5-year contact from CU. He will be the 25th head coach in CU’s history and is taking over for Jon Embree, who was dismissed after two years and a 4-21 record.

More information will be posted as it becomes available.
