President Obama will be on the CU campus Thursday at the Coors Event Center.
The free tickets will be available Tuesday morning at 9 in the UMC on a first-come, first-served basis, and doors are scheduled to open Thursday at 4 p.m. Currently the Obama For America offices in Boulder on the Hill and Pearl Street are sold out. However there is a new location selling tickets at 935 Pearl St. Other nearby locations distributing tickets are the OFA offices in Longmont and Louisville.
The Obama campaign is referring to the stop, the president’s third time at CU this year, as a “grassroots event.”
An American Research Group poll shows that Mitt Romney is currently ahead of the president in Colorado, 48 percent to 47 percent. Both candidates have campaigned heavily in the swing state in recent months, and former president Bill Clinton will be in Denver on Tuesday on behalf of the Obama campaign.
