The Buffs went into the break with a 36-25 lead by as much as 20 points with 15:05 remaining in the second half, but that lead dwindled down to just two points in the final 4:19. The No. 11 Buffs held on, making key free throws to upset the No. 6 Rebels.
While CU turned the ball over 23 times, compared to UNLV’s eight. UNLV also had 14 steals and eight blocks, compared to CU’s four and three respectively.
However, CU did have several driving factors over the Rebels. The Buffs had 46 rebounds, compared to UNLV’s 33.
