The Colorado Buffaloes fought hard, but couldn’t find a way to beat the Oregon Ducks on the road.
Oregon (21-8, 12-5 Pac-12) beat the Buffs (19-10, 11-6 Pac-12) 90-81 Thursday at the Matthew Knight Arena in Eugene, Ore.
The Ducks shot 54.4 percent from the floor, hitting 8-of-14 three-pointers and 20-of-27 free throws.
The Buffs made 54.5 percent of their field goals, going 5-of-17 from the behind the three-point arc and 16-of-19 from the foul line.
Oregon senior guard Devoe Joseph led all scorers with 24 points, making 11-of-16 field goals. Senior guard Garrett Sim scored 19 points, junior forward Carlos Emery came off the bench to score 14, and junior forward E.J. Singler added 10.
Senior guard Carlon Brown broke out of his recent slump to score 20 points for the Buffs. Freshman guard Spencer Dinwiddie and sophomore forward Andre Roberson both had 12 points, and senior guard Nate Tomlinson scored 11 points.
The Buffs will finish regular season play against the Oregon State Beavers on Saturday, Mar. 3, at the Gill Coliseum in Corvallis, Ore., at 2:00 p.m.
