Gunbarrel 3
Gunbarrel 3 is now on display in the Macky Gallery. The paintings of three artists from Lebanon, Colombia and Japan come together to create a diverse and fascinating exhibit. The show runs now through Feb. 14. It is free and open to the public.
SoundBite: Lunchtime concert series
SoundBite kicks off the semester lunchtime concert series this week with local artist, Patrick Delthefs. Enjoy your lunch while listening to some great music. This free event begins at noon every Monday in the UMC.
TUESDAY
BMoCA Scavenger Hunt
Join the hunt at BMoCA! Use your smartphone to answer questions about the museum’s various exhibits and you could win prizes from local Boulder companies. This event runs through Jan. 29. Visit BMoCA’s website to find out how to participate.

Eli Gottlieb @ Boulder Book Store
Go see Eli Gottlieb speak on his most recent novel, The Face Thief. Gottlieb is a widely acclaimed author who has written two other novels. This event costs $5 and begins at 7:30 p.m. at the Boulder Book Store.
The House on August Street
Check out The House on August Street as a part of Hillel Colorado’s Holocaust Awareness Week. This film details the true story of Beate Berger, a German Jew who helped rescue over 100 children during the Holocaust. The film will be followed by a talk by Professor Diane Wolf. The screening begins at 7 p.m. in ATLAS.

Ladysmith Black Mambazo @ Boulder Theater
Enjoy the rhythms and voices of this South African group that is best known for their work with American singer/songwriter Paul Simon. Doors open at 7 p.m.; show begins at 8 p.m. Visit the Boulder Theater website for more information.
What Happened at Deepwater Horizon? A Guest Lecture Event
Come listen to distinguished guest lecturers Donald Winter and Paul Hsieh talk about the investigation of the Deepwater Horizon incident. A dessert reception, as well as networking opportunities, will follow the lecture. The talk begins at 6:30 p.m. in Math 100. This event is free and open to the public, but registration is requested.
