An arrest warrant has been issued for an accomplice in a bike theft that took place last month.
According to an email from Cmdr Robert Axmacher at CUPD, a warrant has been issued for Jordan Andrew Cummings, who was born on 5/27/1987.
The charges associated with Cummings include Felony Theft By Receiving, Felony Pawn Broker Prohibited Purchase and Misdemeanor Theft by Receiving.
CUPD believes that Cummings is the accomplice that was shown in a photo released by them.
The crime in question took place on Monday Sept. 12. A bike was reported stolen from the engineering center. James Kramer was arrested trying to sell the stolen bike at Full Cycle on Pearl that day. His accomplice, believed to be Cummings, fled before police arrived. For more details about the incident, read the CU Independent’s previous article.
