1. Oklahoma (1-0) – Idle
The Sooners had a week to stay clean and injury-free before travelling to Tallahassee. College football’s game of the week, perhaps the season, could further legitimize Oklahoma’s title hopes.

2. LSU (2-0) – Won 49-3 over Northwestern State
Les Miles and company seems to be the dominant team of the Southeastern Conference. Now they begin their conference schedule. Can they run the gauntlet? If they do, recent history says they’ll hold the national championship at season’s end.

3. Alabama (2-0) – Won 27-11 over Penn State
Nick Saban insists the quarterback position is still up in the air, with the battle between AJ McCarron and Phillip Sims ongoing. However, McCarron seems to be the overwhelming favorite, at least statistically, and should start again when the Tide hosts North Texas.

4. Stanford (2-0) – Won 44-14 over Duke
Andrew Luck threw his fair share of touchdowns last Saturday. He also threw one to a Blue Devil, proving that maybe the Heisman candidate is mortal. Luck and the Cardinals will look to roll over the bottom tier of the Pac-12 until they play USC in late October.

5. Boise State (1-0) – Idle
The Broncos are still feeling good after beating down Georgia. With a week to calm their emotions, don’t expect for head coach Chris Petersen come out unprepared in Ohio.

6. Florida State (2-0) – Won 62-10 over Charleston Southern
Some say the Seminoles’ season rides on the primetime home game against the nation’s No. 1 ranked Oklahoma Sooners. Though a loss would all but kill hopes of a national title, they will still be the favorite in the thin ACC. The ‘Noles defense has given up ten points in two lopsided games thus far, how will they respond on Saturday if Oklahoma scores quickly?

7. Texas A&M (1-0) – Idle
The only thing the Aggies seemed to be worried about is if they can get out of the Big 12 and into the SEC. Those in College Station seem hopeful that the deal will be finalized soon. Could the Aggies leave the conference with a slap in the face by winning the Big 12 title? We won’t know until they square off with No. 9 Oklahoma State on Sept. 24.

8. Oregon (1-1) – Won 69-20 over Nevada
Head coach Chip Kelly and the Ducks get back on track with a decisive win over Nevada. His high-speed offense gets another tune up this week before starting conference play.

9. Oklahoma State (2-0) – Won 37-14 over Arizona
New offensive coordinator Todd Monken knows he has a good job when he can say this after the Cowboys route of Arizona.
“It was unfair to think we were going to score every time we had it and move it the length of the field,” Monken said in OSU’s postgame quotes.
With quarterback Brandon Weeden and All-American receiver Justin Blackmon at his disposal, Monken’s group put up nearly 600 yards of total offense on the Wildcats.

10. Wisconsin (2-0) – Won 35-0 over Oregon State
For quarterback Russell Wilson and the Badgers, it was just another home game, and just another blowout. Ho-hum. The transfer quarterback is providing the Badgers with some big-time plays, and his stat line after two matches reads 27-of-34 for 444 yards and five touchdowns without a turnover. Now let’s see how he does away from the comfy Camp Randall Stadium.
