Two CU students are in custody after being arrested in relation to a burglary investigation.
According to a Boulder Police News Release, Quinton Dodson, a studio arts major, and Aaron Whitaker, a 21-year-old marketing major,�have been arrested for burglary in the First Degree and Third Degree assault.
This arrest is in relation to an investigation that has been going on since April 8, according to the release.
Detectives were investigating a burglary that took place around 1:30 a.m. on April 8. Two burglars were attempting to steal items from an 11th street residence, when the resident of the property, a 21-year-old male, interrupted them, according to the release.
The suspects allegedly assaulted the man and ran away. The victim suffered cuts on his� face and head as well as scratches on his arms, and sought medical treatment the next day.
