U.S News & World Report has issued its 2012 edition of the best graduate schools, and CU is among the top 10 for multiple programs.
According to the U.S News & World Report website, CU has received a No. 1 ranking for its atomic/molecular/optical physics program, sharing that ranking with Massachusetts Institute of Technology and beating out Harvard, which earned a No. 3 ranking.
Additionally, CU ranked No. 5 in the quantum physics program, No. 5 in environmental law and No. 8 in physical chemistry.
CU also ranked in the top 50 in multiple other graduate programs, including physics, psychology and chemistry.
