The remaining 40 percent of the fire, according to the Boulder Office of Emergency Management website, is in an area with steep, difficult terrain and no road access.
Currently, 150 personal, with the aid of an air tanker and two helicopters, are still working to fully contain the fire.
According to the website, the remaining mandatory evacuations were lifted Saturday evening for the fire.
Lefthand Canyon Drive is now open to only local residents between U.S. 36 and Olde Stage Road.
However, according to Boulder OEM, Lefthand Canyon Drive remains closed between Olde Stage Road and James Canyon. The Lefthand OHV Area along with Heil Ranch Open Space also remains closed.
