Brenna Fisch, a 19-year-old open-option major, remains in critical condition at Boulder Community Hospital after being rescued at 6:30 a.m. Friday after officials were called to Boulder Canyon for a fallen climber, according to a Boulder County Sheriff’s Office news release.
According to the release Fisch was bouldering alone at 6 p.m. Thursday night on “The Dome.” Fisch fell 40 feet onto the climbing access trail and sustained a serious head injury.
Fisch slowly attempted to make her way down the trail over the course of 12 hours and was discovered 100 yards from the road by two climbers Friday morning.
Fisch is currently in critical condition with multiple injuries.
