A car accident that occurred Wednesday evening involving a female CU student is being investigated and alcohol may have played a factor, said Sergeant Michael Everett of the Boulder Police Department.
“[There are] no injuries,” Everett said. “Alcohol influence is suspected for one of the drivers.”
The accident occurred at approximately 6:45 p.m. at the intersection of 20th St. and Broadway, Everett said. The female student was in a vechicle eastbound on 20th St. and collided in the intersection with a vehicle traveling southbound on Broadway.
Both drivers claim they had a green light, Everett said.
Everett said he could not give out any more information about the female student at this time.
