The Colorado Buffaloes women’s golf team spent the last three days in a place that had the name Boulder in it. It just wasn’t in Colorado.
In the Las Vegas Collegiate Showdown in Boulder Creek, Nev., the Buffs stayed out of the snowfall here at home to finish 14th in their final tournament of the fall season.
Senior Christine Kim was CU’s best golfer over the three-day tourney as she finished 22nd individually with a score of 225. Sophomore Emily Talley was three strokes behind at 228 to finished 36th.
Arizona won the event with a tourney score of 878, five strokes better than Florida. CU shot 916.
The Buffs will return to action from Feb. 8-10 with the Northrop Grumman Regional Challenge in Palos Verdes, Calif.
