CU Independent is the only official news source for the CU Boulder campus community produced by students. We were one of the first college newspapers in the US to go all-digital, and we’re proud of our ability to cover breaking news with our online-only platform.

CU Independent is housed within the university’s Journalism and Mass Communications program, and is staffed by students from within the J-school and across CU’s many disciplines. Our staff produces news, sports and feature stories daily and posts them online.
