Coroner IDs body found Saturday on campus

A man found dead outside the Museum Collections building Friday night was identified to be a 51-year-old Boulderite.

Boulder County Coroner Emma Hall said in a news release on Tuesday that the man was Ralph Devore.

No other information on Devore was provided. He does not appear to be a CU student.

After responding to a report of an unconscious man at 8:40 p.m. Friday, CU Police said the incident appeared to pose no ongoing threat to the community.

A cause of death pends further investigation by the coroner’s office, Hall said in the release.
