CU women’s basketball guard Chucky Jeffery had a career night, but it wasn’t enough to pull the Buffaloes ahead of the University of Oregon Ducks.

Jeffery scored 18 points in the 67-62 loss, becoming the 24th player in school history to reach 1,000 career points. Jeffery now has 1,010 points in her three seasons at CU. Lexy Kresl also finished the night with a career-high 17 points and five 3-pointers.

The Buffs fall to 15-7 overall, 4-17 Pac-12, while the Ducks improve to 13-10, 5-6 Pac-12.

The Ducks went on an 18-0 run during a 10-minute CU scoring drought. Oregon came back from an eight point first-half deficit while the Buffs shot just 33.3 percent in second half.

The Buffs return home to the Coors Events Center to face the University of Arizona Wildcats at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 9.
