This was the football team’s first road win since 2007, according to the Associated Press.

The upset against the Utes was a bright point in a rough season for the Buffs, who finished their first season in the Pac-12 with a 3-10 record.

During the half-time break the Buffs were leading 10-0, but the Utes quickly caught up as the game continued into the second half. Utah missed the opportunity to tie the game after a failed attempt at a 26-yard field goal, according to the AP.
